Multimedia Release Form

I produce a number of podcasts, most of which are interviews. As such, I require interviewees, or guests to participate.

As all my podcasts are conducted via Skype, you must have a Skype account to participate, and preferably a USB headset, as the audio quality from computer speakers is generally not good and I’d prefer not to use it. If it is all you have, we can see how it sounds on the day and at that time I will make a decision as to the quality and whether it is acceptable. If audio quality is not good, it distracts from the messages being conveyed. And really important, you must make sure you are in a very quiet location, ideally a room which has carpet or mats on the floor. Definitely do not attempt to do a recording from your work place; the background noise completely cancels out the audio. For this reason, scheduling your podcast after hours is generally the best option.

Once you complete this form and sign the media release, I will send you some possible podcast times via ScheduleOnce. Please make sure you change the time zone when you go to the link, then choose a time that suits you. Even though I specify some available times, my work commitments can change from day to day and I may have to reschedule at short notice.

MULTIMEDIA RELEASE CLAUSE
I do hereby grant Victoria Hansen, the right to record and make available on the World Wide Web, via the Internet, any interviews with me recorded for the purpose of podcasting via any websites and/or multimedia’s outlets of Victoria Hansen, this includes promotion of the media via social media networks managed by Victoria Hansen.

I understand that although I will not be provided with a copy of the file, I will be provided with a link to the streaming file that I can place on my website and promote via my social networks.

I understand that the recordings may be used by Victoria Hansen and her affiliates for various purposes without my express written or verbal permission, and may be made available behind locked website sections which may incur subscription fees for members.

And I understand I will not be paid for the recordings or the broadcast of them now, or in the future, and acknowledge that in return for my participation in the recordings I will be acknowledged in the recordings and a link will be provided to my website or email address from any of the sites or social media platforms they appear on.

I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished version(s) of such productions including written copy that may be created in connections with them.
