KPI'S
In my role as a TAS (Technical and Applied Studies) teacher, I seamlessly integrated a diverse skill set into my teaching approach. From designing and implementing engaging curriculum aligned with educational standards to delivering effective instruction in Home Economics and Textiles & Design, my focus has always been on providing a comprehensive learning experience. I ensured a positive classroom environment through adept management, fostering a conducive atmosphere for productive learning.
Resourcefulness and adaptability defined my teaching methods, allowing me to cater to diverse learning styles and individual student needs. Strict implementation of safety protocols in practical workshops underscored my commitment to a secure learning environment. Possessing technical expertise in TAS areas, I operated and maintained tools and equipment efficiently. Collaborating with colleagues, I contributed to cross-disciplinary connections, fostering a sense of community within the school.
Before establishing my entrepreneurial venture in 1991, I spent four transformative years working overseas in the recruitment, training, and travel sectors. As a tour guide in the snow fields, I honed my communication and leadership skills. Transitioning to the corporate realm, I excelled as a recruitment consultant, gaining expertise in talent acquisition. My role as a corporate trainer further equipped me with skills in designing and delivering effective training programs.
These varied experiences served as a foundation for starting my own consultancy business. Insights gained provided me with a holistic understanding of business operations, effective communication, and talent management. Navigating diverse industries proved invaluable when establishing and growing my consultancy, demanding a versatile skill set. The lessons from overseas ventures played a pivotal role in shaping my approach to business strategy, client relations, and organisational development.
